By default, at application startup, the value is 60 (meaning one pulse every second). The volume, the frequency, the duration and the tempo of the beep can also be changed by clicking on the preferred option. Selected options are saved in the application preferences Frequency: the value is expressed in Hertz. Volume: if "Loud" is selected, the beeps are generated at full power, irrespective of the System settings. "Medium" means half of the full power, and "Low" means a fourth of it. Duration: the value is expressed in millisecond. Tempo: the first pulse of each time is generated with a higher frequency.
